Our Story
A note from Elissa:
I was 13 when I fully embraced my love for handmade things. From sewing classes to showcasing my bracelets at craft fairs, I’ve always loved the experience gained from creating gifts with my hands. Fast forward through college and my creative outlet became writing. Still, my passion inevitably returned to my jewelry-making days, bringing me joy that I love sharing with others.
LucyMint began in 2013 and over a decade later I still love offering high-quality, minimal jewelry at an affordable price—handcrafted or curated by me and inspired by my family who shares my creative and entrepreneurial spirit. Today, I run LucyMint from our home as my husband and I raise our three wild yet amazing children.
It’s my hope that LucyMint ultimately serves and encourages women who desire a life lived with meaning, grace, and intention—while reminding them they are dearly loved.

Why LucyMint?
For as long as I can remember, my mother's nickname for me has been Lucy. (Though my real name is Elissa. Completely unrelated, I know.) It’s a term of endearment and I’ve come to love the name.
And then there's mint. My favorite shade of green, the description of things in pristine condition (a reminder of how Christ's redemption makes all things new), and the distinct aroma of my grandmother's purse (since she always had menthol cough drops on hand).
My grandmother and mother are two of the most talented crafters I know—pouring unconditional love into each thing they make. Their creativity never ceases to amaze me. LucyMint, in essence, is the result of their inspiration and impact in my life.
